The work Is a symbolic representation of my personal experience with the city of Mumbai.
The City of dreams or to say Mayanagri is far off known to me, as I never have lived there for more than a week on my few trips taken to the city, the vibe of the city always attracted me with its positive attitude to make the dreams achievable but yet its obscure and might be an outsider point of view.
My very little experience of the city is always through its architecture and its known or written history. for this particular work i wanted to play with the word obscure and present the architectural appearance of the city as obscure as the city in my mind. The city is also know for it being a financial capital of the country where hundred of people migrated to the city everyday to achieve, utopia of their imagination. city of bollywood seems to take you on a journey in the land of imagination where the life happens on its own pace seems. slums next to the wealthiest not only present the complex architecture but might come as alarm for unequal wealth distribution but also seems that the city rewards only those who have will to work hard and have an imagination..
